Our Ube Halaya is made fresh in-house, never from a jar or mass-produced. At Boka Grindz, we take pride in cooking it low and slow, stirring for what feels like hours over a hot stove. The effort is worth it! You can almost smell the aroma in our kitchen.
We love using our signature purple yam jam in our special Ube Turon and Ube Siopao (coming back soon!). It’s even better with queso blanco when we’re feeling cheesy.
