IMMEDIATE OPENING! Rocco's NY pizza in North Summerlin is currently seeking an ideal candidate with prior experience (preferably in an Italian or like) style restaurant to fill the position of cook/prep. We have a great team, competitive pay + tips, this is a full-time position 4 days a week 40 hrs.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Follows/learns recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and serving food items to Rocco's standards.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment by upholding safety and sanitation guidelines in conjunction with state and county health codes.
• Stock, date, rotate and check the temperature of the product to maintain the highest quality.
• Receives deliveries and stores food in refrigerators and freezers.
• Makes lists of items that need to be ordered and assists in keeping the kitchen organized.
• Prep to fully execute the items offered on the menu.
• Assists in cleaning the kitchen before the closing of the shift.in keeping flow during the busy time. Prefer prior employment in the fast-paced food industry.
Qualifications and Skills
Prior experience as a line cook/prep a must. Be able to follow recipes and supports/communicates well as part of a team with fellow employees.
Must be able to work day, night and weekends.
Must have the stamina to work 10-hour shifts.
Previous experience in pizzeria-style restaurants is helpful, team players are a must. Drama free, No Drugs!
Must possess a current health card.
