Chef Sarah Thompson of Casa Playa joined Chef Norman Fenton of Cariño in Chicago for a special edition of Tacos with Friends, a one-night-only 12-course taco omakase bringing together two James Beard Award finalists known for their shared passion for nixtamalized masa and contemporary Mexican cuisine.

Held during James Beard Awards weekend, this intimate collaboration celebrated the creativity, craftsmanship, and culinary excellence connecting Chicago and Las Vegas.
