DQ/OJ DQ/OJ was a dessert shop, dessert restaurant, and fast-food restaurant located on Southern Highlands Pkwy. Its specialty was Dairy Queen or Orange Julius treats that could refresh anyone during warmer weather. The restaurant had organized a Blizzard eating contest in August 2010 that received an amazing response from the public. DQ/OJ used to update its social media profiles regularly with their ongoing offers throughout 2010 and until March 15, 2011. However, it seems the profiles have not been updated since then and may not be operational for more than twelve years.

Note: This restaurant has not updated its profile for more than 12 years and might be closed down.

Our second Blizzard eating contest went down last night and here is part of the group that participated. The winner finished their Blizzard in 1:25, not quite as fast as last time but still pretty impressive! check back later for some video of last nights events.

Here is the link to our first ever Blizzard eating contest. The winner, Tony ate his Extra large Banana Split Blizzard in a time of 48.8 sec!!! A you can see the next closest time was around the 2 min. 30 sec. mark, AMAZING! Thanks to everyone who participated, we look forward to seeing you all on Aug. 5th for our next contest.

Extra Large Blizzard eating contest, this Thursday at 7:00p.m. @ DQSouthern Highlands. There is a $10 entry fee and prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. All procedes will be donated to our local childrens miricle network! Come sign up at the store and show us what you're made of.

Public Transport:
- Take the RTC bus to Southern Highlands Pkwy and Cactus Ave. From there, it's a short walk to the restaurants.

Driving/Parking:
- If traveling from Las Vegas Blvd, head south on I-15 and take exit 27 for Cactus Ave.
- Turn left onto Cactus Ave and continue straight until you reach Southern Highlands Pkwy.
- The restaurants will be on your right hand side.
- Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the restaurants.
